Hello, Hello, Hello!

Hi my crafty friends! It has been years since I posted on my blog. A lot has happened. It's called life...lol. My boys are all grown up and mostly out of the house. Lol...I say mostly because I still have 2 at home. It won't be long before the hubby and I are empty nesters. But until then I'm still being a full time mom.

I have been crafting off and on throughout the years. Just haven't posted anything. This year 2020, I joined a memory dex challenge posted on instagram.  Plus the encouragment from the hubby to start posting and doing videos again has got me back in the mood to do it. You can follow me on instagram and check out what I'm doing over there. I figured I would start the year off doing a challenge to get back into the swing of things. I hope to post some of the things I've recently done. And not wait years later to share them.😀 I've updated my Youtbe channel also so, go check that out as well.

I pray your year has been a blessed one thus far and enjoying your crafty time you are able to have. Thanks for stopping by!

Cards to share

What a beautiful day to have been out!

Today was a beautiful day! I hope your day was beautiful too. I wanted to share with you some cards I did earlier this year that I haven't posted. I plan on giving them away so I wanted to share them before they get gone.  I had seen this post youtube WPlus9 on water color and was inspired to try it. Of course I don't have any of the stamps they used. I worked with what I had. I also did my background in water color instead of stamping then water color the image. If you like doing cards try different techniques and see how it goes for you. I definitely will be trying the water color technique again.

I used various stickers and homemade enamel dots to decorate.

For the card below I stamped a butterfly, used embossing powder as the outline, then did the water color technique. I cut the butterfly out and popped it onto a pop dot.

May you have a blessed day...and thank you for stopping by!

Welcome....

Hi, my crafting friends. I'm back with a new blog.  I will try to post as I'm lead to do so. Youtube....not just yet. But for now I would love to share with you some things I have created. There is way to much to share, but I will share a few pictures today.

I was just having fun with these cards. I wanted to try my hand at shabby chic...just to see if I could do it. I think they turned out ok.

Card below: I used a paper collection from Prima 6x6 paper pack.

Card below:  I used a cut from the Silhouette store.

below: For the background, is a cut I found on Pinterest. I don't have all those fancy dies so I searched for it online.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

below: the inside of the top card.

With these set of cards I used the famous Mariposa by DCWV small card stack to create these. I know the collection is way old. I had it and never used it so thought I would. I used various stickers I found at the Dollar store. And of course my favorite inspirational quotes.

In this picture I used Rebecca B free download Cherry Blossom. I used my silhouette to cut it out. Please check her out she has awesome free downloads. For the inside I used a digital kit I purchased. I can't remember from where...I believe it was Eco Park. Sorry, not quiet sure. But the kit had different elements in it. I had already had it cut out for another project and thought it would go great in this card. Again I used my silhouette to cut it out. The stamp on the front was from the dollar ben at Michaels and I used blue ink on an embossing folder. Ran it through my big shot and there you have it... a card.

Thank you for stopping by. God bless!
